Blessing Day

Emrie's Blessing was actually on August 2nd, but I keep forgetting to put up pictures. Grandma Kay made her gorgeous dress! She looked so sweet and she was so good. It was the first Sunday I didn't have to take her out during Sacrament Meeting. The blessing Chad gave was beautiful! It was a very moving and spiritual experience to have your own daughter blessed and listen to special blessings that are in store for her. We were very lucky and one of the ladies in our ward wrote down the blessing for us, so we could have a copy of what was said. Here are some pictures of the day:

The top had ribbon criss crossed and flowers at the crossing points. I did make her bow...looks kinda big in the picture but it looked cute :D

This is a full shot, the dress was really long and the bottom was pleated in vertical sections then below that horizontally. It really looked beautitul!

The family there that attended. Mine and Chad's family. We missed Makenna, Jason, Rochelle and Whitney!

Here are all the men! What a good looking bunch, Don't you agree? :D

Mom did a great job on the dress! I love it! Emrie looks so beautiful! She is changing so much and will be a big girl by the time I get to snuggle her (sad face)

She looks so sweet and happy, and the dress is amazing, I can't believe it's homemade! Congratulations on your special day!
