Okay, so I've had some difficulty posting on this updated blogger....well having it post my pictures, so here's a lot of pictures :D
Kite Festival Chad and Emrie went to while Molly and I were in Utah at my cousins wedding. They had bounce houses and bunch of booths with games the kids could win little prizes at. They also had train day that same day and went to the train station and got a cute hat. Then this a week ago was Armed Forces Day and they had an open house at the airport and had TONS of planes out for you to look at. They had planes flying in formation constantly above...taking off right in front of you and landing. It was pretty cool. They also had a helicopter take off right in front of us...like 30 feet in front of us. It was really neat! So here are a few pictures for your enjoyment :D
I cut Emrie's hair into a little bob, so it was the same length and it looks so much better. Can't believe how grown up my girls are getting! Molly turns 1 next week and Emrie's almost 3...she's become such a pretty little girl I think (but of course I'm biased :D)

Happy Easter!!!
It was pretty chilly Saturday here, but we headed to an Easter Egg Hunt at a Nursery here. It was really fun.

We've lately had a really hard time getting Emrie to go to bed. She'll go down fighting and then come knocking at her door calling "mommy" like 4 different times before she'll stay in bed. It is VERY frustrating to me. So Saturday night we were fighting and I finally had to call the Easter Bunny for her to talk to. He told her she needed to go to bed or he couldn't bring her a basket and she went down quite nicely after that. Now we just need to figure out how to fix her bedtime issues for every other night.

Good Books
Soooo, I know I'm WAY behind the mad rush reading of The Help. I was way behind on Hunger Games too. But I did just read this a couple weeks ago and I have to say I did Really Really like it. It was so good. I LOVE reading! It is one of my weaknesses, but I hate it when I run out of things to read.
And if you haven't read this book it is AWESOME!! Makenna recommended it to me. It is a series and there's 2 books out so far. But I loved it. It takes place during the Revolutionary War. It's called Chains by Laurie Halse Anderson.

One day Chad found this video and made me watch it because he said it totally reminds him of how I am. It makes me laugh. "I'm Reading a Book" by Julian Smith...If you haven't seen it you should watch it on youtube. And if I'm being totally honest, I'm kinda like the video...I don't like to be interrupted during a good book. I drive Chad crazy when I'm into a book cause I totally zone out.

Fun Fun Fun for everyone!
Sometimes we go to this gymnastics place where they have open gym for kids under 5 to just play...Emrie loves jumping off the tramp into the foam pit, so we spend most of our time there...I have learned to only go with both girls if Chad comes, cause it's really really tiring by myself and a little crazy.

Molly's absolute favorite place in the house is Emrie's closet. Doesn't matter how many times I close it, it is always opened and she is in with all the shoes...I know, sucking on shoes, Yuck!
My latest sewing projects...(Actually!!! I just finished both girls Easter dresses Today!!--but I'm not putting them in them till Easter, so have to wait for those)
I don't think I'll ever be able to get a picture again of Emrie where she is not trying to do some kind of ballerina pose.
And I used this pair of overalls (couldn't talk myself into wearing them again :D ) and made Emrie a little jean skirt. And I only used one leg...what to do with the rest?

Last but not least this last weekend we got hit with lots and lots of snow. Church actually got canceled. Monday I tried to go out sledding but couldn't bring myself to tromp thigh deep in new snow, so we went Tuesday, all of us and it was SOOO fun. I forgot how fun sledding was. We were hauling down the hill.

Sring Break in New Mexico
For Spring Break this last week we went and visited my sister Rochelle's family in New Mexico. Her 2 little boys are the same age as my 2 little girls, so it was nice for the kids to be able to play. We had a lot of fun...minus the flu bug we brought with us, sorry Shel! We did take the kids to the zoo one day which was really neat.

This Peacock walking around and Emrie almost touched it she was so close to it.

The elephants were really cool. They got in the water and swam (2 adults and the baby) and they played in the water forever and when they got out they used their trunks to fling a bunch of dirt on themselves. It was pretty funny.
Molly happy...which was pretty rare. She is teething for the first time..her 2 bottom teeth and she is a very unhappy little girl. Crying and nursing the day away. I sure hope it's not like this for all her teeth or I might lose my mind!
We also went to the aquarium, which was very neat.
